Ghinwa Naja  |  Executive Director

Ghinwa is the current Executive Director at Chi Sigma Consulting, after serving as Engagement Manager and Associate a few semesters back. She’s a fourth year Finance major with coursework in Social Entrepreneurship and International Affairs. She has a plethora of domestic and international experiences, from working in Financial Planning and Analysis at the Boston Consulting Group to Diversity and Inclusion at Liberty Mutual Insurance. She’s passionate about client-facing assignments and data analytics, and completed case studies in Australia, India and the United Kingdom. She’s passionate about solo-backpacking, motivational talks and Yoga Vinyasa flow.

Kelly Szaniawski  |  Director of Consulting

Kelly is a 4th year Health Science Major pursuing a minor in Business Analytics. She is the currently the Director of Consulting for Chi Sigma Consulting and has worked as an engagement manager on previous projects.  Her first co-op was at the Cambridge Health Alliance as a physical therapist aide and her current coop is at Dana Farber Cancer Institute as a process improvement analyst within the Quality and Patient Safety Department. CSC has inspired her to pursue consulting-based roles within the healthcare sector in order to further health equity through data analytics surrounding best healthcare practices. When not working with CSC she is involved in the Social Enterprise Institute Student Association on campus. In her spare time Kelly loves spending time at the shore and pursuing open water swimming and has once swam next to a wild dolphin (by mistake lol).

Ian McGuire  |  Director of Operations

Ian is a second-year student at Northeastern University in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business. He is currently pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting and is co-oping at PwC. He previously lived in New York and London before moving to Tokyo, where he eventually graduated from an international school. Ian spent this summer as an intern at MIT, and has spent his past summers as a camp counselor in Japan. He is actively involved in volunteer work, and is constantly seeking opportunities to improve the communities around him. In his free time, Ian enjoys playing basketball, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Dani Sharara        Engagement Manager

Dani is a fourth-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's degree in Engineering Management. He spent the majority of his childhood in Beirut, Lebanon before moving to Boston for college. Dani recently completed a co-op at Lahey Health as an Associate Project Manager in the Performance Improvement Operations department. Other work experience includes a 6 month internship at Simpson Gumpertz and Heger in San Francisco.

Miguel Abouchedid                 Engagement Manager

Miguel is a third year Economics and Finance major from Caracas, Venezuela. He has lived in Venezuela, Ohio, and China. The economic disparities between China and Venezuela interested him to pursue a degree in economics. Some of the things that he enjoys outside of classes are sports, reading, and cooking. Miguel plays as a forward for the Northeastern rugby team where he enjoys leading the scrum and advancing the backs. Ultimately he wants to do something in life where he can give back to the community and help people out.

Matthew Weiss                      Engagement Manager

Matthew is a third year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. On campus he acts as the Treasurer in the Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity as well as seeking a Junior Analyst position in the Student Value Fund. He just finished his first Co-op working in Trading Operations at State Street Global Advisors. In his free time he enjoys watching the patriots and skiing in New Hampshire. 

 

Connor Jew        Project Lead

Connor is a senior at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business studying Marketing and Management Information Systems. He primarily has a digital marketing and marketing analytics background, completing his co-ops at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Rue La La. Most recently, he interned at L’Oréal where he worked for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, and will return to the company after graduating in May. Connor has a huge passion for traveling, as well as teaching others about big data and data visualization.

Evan Moore                      Project Lead

Evan is a third year student in the College of Engineering at Northeastern University. He is currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, and hopes to also attain an Engineering Management Master’s Degree concurrently. Evan works at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as a co-op, where he manages facilities and assists with business operations for the fabrication engineering group. He wishes to continue developing his project management skills, and loves working on artistic projects in his free time. Originally from New Jersey, he enjoys city life in Boston, spending time with friends, and listening to music.

Christine Taing                    Project Lead

Christine is a fifth-year Design major concentrating in Experience Design, minoring in Mechanical Engineering and Chinese. She grew up in Los Angeles and moved to Boston to experience weather. She has co-oped at Canon USA as a Mechanical Engineer and is currently co-oping  at Marsh & McLennan Companies as a Digital and Graphics Specialist. Her other work experiences include working as a Host at Barcelona Wine Bar and interning at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She is a 47kg powerlifter on Northeastern University's Powerlifting team and loves fashion, food, and traveling. 

Chris Tsang          Associate Consultant

Chris is a second year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Chris lives in Hong Kong and studied abroad throughout his secondary education in England, where he became a huge fan in Soccer. Chris has previously worked at PwC Hong Kong as an assurance intern, and in the future he hopes to venture into the real estate industry, due to his fascination with architecture and his love for city life. Some of the things Chris enjoys outside of classes are cooking, listening to music and exploring cities.

Aaron Chow

Associate Consultant

Aaron is a third year at Northeastern University pursuing a major in BSBA with a double concentration in Marketing/Finance and minor in Philosophy. He has served in Alpha Kappa Psi as Chair of Brotherhood and VP of Alumni Relations. His work experience includes marketing internships at Michael Kors and Disney Studios, and a finance internship at Dow Chemical. His most recent experience was a Sports Marketing co-op at the Reebok Headquarters in Boston. 

Emmie Galler

Associate Consultant

Emmie is a third year at Northeastern University pursuing a combined degree in Political Science and Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Emmie enjoys the combination of these two majors because she believes that new solutions and inventions are necessary to improve the quality of life for people across the world. She completed her first co-op at EF Education First where she was an product experience specialist in the Explore America Department. She will begin her second co-op in July, at Marsh McLennan as a consultant for retirement services in Boston. Emmie is originally from Santa Barbara, California and enjoys the ocean and the outdoors. In her free time she enjoys traveling, listening to music, and reading.

Melissa Soong

Associate Consultant

Melissa is a second-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Marketing and Finance. This spring, she is working at New Balance Athletics in their Digital Consumer Experience area working with the Amazon and Zappos accounts. In the past, she has worked with international trade at the World Trade Center of Los Angeles, with the Sales & Marketing team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore, and with the Finance department at the Four Points by Sheraton in Anaheim. On campus, Melissa is the Vice President of Professionalism for Northeastern's Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Fraternity, a campus tour guide with Husky Ambassadors, and a member of NUDANCO Dance Company. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, her passions include ballet dance, travel, and pageantry. 

George Lee                Associate Consultant

George is a third-year Northeastern University student, currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. He is originally from Shanghai, China, where he attended an international school growing up. His past work experiences include working as a marketing co-op on the Retirement Plan Services team at John Hancock in Boston and as a product intern for Kipling China. He is passionate about service and volunteer work and is frequently finding opportunities to give back to the community. In his free time, he enjoys personal fitness, fashion, and reading.

Andrea Arana          Associate Consultant

Andrea is a third-year student pursuing a combined major in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She grew up in Lima, Peru and decided to come to Boston for her undergraduate degree and learn about the impact of the US economy in business performance around the world and the importance of finance in different industries. She completed her first co-op in State Street Corporation in the Recovery & Resolution Planning department under the capital & liquidity team. She learned about FDIC regulations and risk management operations in custody banks. Having already experienced an internal job, Andrea is looking for a next coop that will allow her to work and interact with clients. In her free time, Andrea enjoys playing volleyball for fun and learning about food trends, new recipes, and restaurant. She enjoys traveling to tropical places and learning about different cultures. 

Joanne Kao          Associate Consultant

Joanne is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a combined degree in Psychology and Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Joanne is currently on her first co-op working at Amundi Pioneer in the Marketing Communications department. Her pas internship experiences include working as a Content Strategist at National Taiwan University, Website Designer and Stylist at Lilai boutique, and Editor at Red Cross Taiwan. Originally from Taiwan and lived in Shanghai for ten years, Joanne likes interacting with people of different backgrounds. Having seen such a huge economic disparity back in China while living in the protected bubble of an international school, she enjoyed bringing those around her into the local community to actively reach out and get to know the world surrounding them better through their own unique ways. 

Julie Huang         Associate Consultant

Julie is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Computer Science. She is currently on co-op at Eaton Vance Management on their trading desk, and is enhancing her analytical, collaborative, and time management skills through this role. On campus, she is part of Student Value Fund and Finance For the Community through which she can learn more about finance and investing and give back to the community. Julie is originally from Santa Clara, California, and enjoys traveling, eating, and spending time with family and friends.

Junn Meng Teng          Associate Consultant

My name is Junn Meng, and I am a third year finance major here at Northeastern University. I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia all my life and only moved to Boston to attend college. My first co-op experience was at Amundi Pioneer Asset Management working as the financial planning and analysis co-op. In the past, I have worked in the social media department of a marketing agency and helped with promotion through online influencers. Outside of school, I enjoy sports, online shopping, and listening to music.
