Everett Tu | Executive Director
Everett is a fourth-year pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Business Analytics, and serving as the Executive Director. This is his second semester with Chi Sigma Consulting, with his first semester helping Tailored for Success improve their inventory processes. Everett has also worked in a variety of financial positions ranging from a Pricing Desk Analyst at KPMG to an Investment Analyst at Lumia Capital, and most recently as a Treasury intern at Qualcomm. In his free time, Everett enjoys playing music and cooking.
Evan Moore | Director of Consulting
Evan is a fourth-year student in the College of Engineering at Northeastern University. While pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, he has served both as an Associate and as Project Lead prior to his role as Director of Consulting. Evan completed his first co-op at MIT Lincoln Laboratory with the fabrication engineering group, and now works at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a member of the Process Improvement team to pursue an interest in healthcare. He wishes to continue developing his project management skills, but also loves working on artistic projects and exploring new music in his free time.
Julie Huang | Director of Operations
Julie is a third-year pursuing a major in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Computer Science, and is serving as the Director of Operations. This is her second semester in Chi Sigma Consulting, after working with Boston Shakespeare Project to create a plan for monetizing its theater arts programming. Outside of CSC, she has interned at Eaton Vance Management on their Global Trading desk. She is also part of Finance For the Community, teaching personal finance to Boston Public High School students, Student Value Fund, the university's investment club, and the D'Amore-McKim School of Business Delegate Program as a peer mentor. Originally from the SF Bay Area, Julie enjoys traveling, baking, and trying new foods.
Eric is a fourth-year majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems. Having previously worked as a Tax and Wealth Management Intern at the Colony Group and a Business Analyst at Bluewolf, an IBM company, Eric has experience working with clients and applying agile methodology to provide working deliverables in a project setting. In his spare time, he enjoys partaking in landscape photography and eating high calorie, nutrient dense smoothies in his free time.
George is a fourth-year, currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Marketing. He has previously worked as a marketing intern on John Hancock’s Retirement Plan Services team and is currently working at Wayfair as a marketing analyst for Perigold. In his free time, he enjoys personal fitness, fashion, and reading.
Melissa is a third-year pursuing a degree in Marketing and Finance at Northeastern University. This is her third semester helping non-profits through Chi Sigma Consulting. Outside of CSC, she has worked with New Balance Athletics, the World Trade Center Los Angeles to conduct their 2018 International Asia Trade Mission, and the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore. As an advocate for personal branding and preparing individuals for the workforce, she has actively worked with the Miss America Organization, and Tailored for Success. In her free time, Melissa is a campus tour guide with Husky Ambassadors and a member of NUDANCO Dance Company.
Chris is a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Chris lives in Hong Kong and studied abroad throughout his secondary education in England, where he became a huge fan of soccer. Chris has previously worked at PwC Hong Kong as an assurance intern, and is currently on co-op at Merrill Lynch as a private wealth associate. In the future he hopes to venture into the real estate industry, due to his fascination with architecture and his love for city life. Some of the things Chris enjoys outside of classes are cooking, listening to music and exploring cities.
Ethan is a third-year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Minor in Business Analytics. In the N.U.in program, where he started his first semester of college in Shanghai, he participated in volunteering for nonprofits and wanted to pursue a similar activity back on campus in Boston. His experience as a Market Risk Analyst at UBS has helped him develop his critical thinking and time management skills in order to offer diligent solutions to nonprofits in the ever-changing world. In his free time, Ethan enjoys playing basketball, tennis, and finding new places to eat.
Mathew is a third-year student at Northeastern University, pursuing a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Computer Science. His previous work experience include working in a microbiology lab on campus and interning at Underwriters Laboratories. In the fall, Mathew will be co-oping at McKinsey & Company in the Chemical Research team. He hopes to take his background to pursue a career in life sciences consulting. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and maintaining his aquariums.
Sam is a third-year student pursuing a combined degree in Marketing Analytics and Economics. She has lived all over the U.S., but considers Houston home. Sam has just completed her first co-op as a Learning Systems Analyst at Boston Consulting Group. Her previous work experience includes an internship for an e-commerce company in Indonesia called Blibli.com where she worked on search engine optimization. In her free time, Sam loves traveling, writing, and watching movies.
Helene Barbier Associate Consultant
Helene is a second-year student pursuing a degree in Marketing. Her previous work experience includes working at Valua, UCPA, and Teaspoon in customer-facing roles. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
Alexander is a second-year student pursuing a degree in International Business with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Law and Public Policy. Alex hopes to merge these three topics to focus on international tax and audit laws. Alex is also involved in the Downhillers Ski Club, Feminist Student Organization, Women’s Caucus, and College Democrats as the Financial Director. Alex calls Mattituck, New York home and enjoys sailing, skiing, and seeking out the best Italian food.
Elizabeth is a second-year English and Communication Studies Major pursuing a minor in Business Administration. She has interned at The Friedrich Agency, a literary agency representing renowned authors for print-publishing rights, as well as the nation-wide nonprofit writer's workshop, Writopia Lab. At Northeastern, she is part of the Public Relations Committee in the Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. Originally from New York, som of Elizabeth's passions and hobbies include fine arts, travel, fashion, and reading.
Harry is a second-year student in the D’Amore-McKim School of Business studying International Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Eventually, he would like to start his own business. He grew up in Princeton, New Jersey where he was very active in local Special Olympics programs and raising money for underprivileged students. Outside of school work and Alpha Kappa Psi, he can be found running, listening to music, and exploring new places. This will be his first semester in Chi Sigma Consulting.
William is a second-year at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business studying Mathematics and Finance. With a natural love for numbers, he plans to use these areas to help him in pursuing a path centered in actuarial science, the quantitative study of risk in finance and business. He grew up in Queens, New York City and has experience running his own non-profit, the Chinatown Literacy Project. On campus, he is the treasurer for the Chinese Student Association and is also the fundraising chair for Alpha Kappa Psi. In his personal life, he enjoys rowing, eating, Frisbee, and listening to new music.
Jonathan is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering. While originally from the Bay Area, Jonathan has experience working with various different non-profits such as the Australian Red Cross, Project Esperanza, and City Team. He hopes to continue to give back to the communities he lives in through his role with Chi Sigma Consulting. His main hobbies are listening to music, exploring the city with friends and playing basketball.
Conor is a fourth-year student at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. He is pursuing a dual-degree in International Business with Dublin City University (DCU), where he spent his first two years of college life. He has interned in retail banking, central banking and asset management. His previous volunteering experience included feeding the homeless on the streets of Dublin with St. Vincent de Paul and organising a Cycle Against Suicide. A native of County Donegal in Ireland, he is passionate about Irish history and culture. He also enjoys reading and running.
Maya is a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Marketing with a minor in Chemistry. Having lived in Missouri, Japan, and California, she came to Boston to try something new. Maya has a passion for skincare and beauty and hopes to pursue these interests through her career. On campus, she is also part of Circle K, in which she is able to serve her community through volunteer work at various Boston organizations. In her free time, she enjoys trying new foods, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ariel is a second-year student from the San Francisco Bay Area pursuing a major in graphic and information design with minors in art history and business administration. With her background in business and design, Ariel wants to help create advertisements and graphics at a company to develop a more cohesive environment between design and marketing. Her previous experiences include interning at My New Red Shoes, a non-profit organization based in the Bay Area, where she was in charge of planning large scale distribution events and managing inventory. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, hiking, and exploring different cultures through food.
Hanson is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and a minor in data science. This fall, he will be searching for a co-op in corporate finance while maintaining an active role in the community. On campus, Hanson will serve as a Chair of the Finance Committee in Alpha Kappa Psi with the goal of learning more about the field of finance, as well as a Co-Program Coordinator for the Asian Student Union to give back to and support the Asian American Community. His goal is to utilize his acquired skills to consistently and positively impact communities around him. Originally from Arcadia, California, his hobbies include playing basketball and music, photography, and exploring new foods.
