Elan Cheng | Director

Elan is a fourth-year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. His first co-op was at State Street Corporation working as an RRP (Recovery and Resolution Planning) Analyst. He is currently in his second co-op at MFS Investment Management as a Fund Treasury Financial Reporting Co-op. This is Elan’s fifth semester with Chi Sigma Consulting and his second semester as Director. He hopes to use his experience and skills to further CSC’s mission and make an impact in the community. Elan was born and raised in Hong Kong and enjoys hobbies including playing sports, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.

Rick Song | Director

Rick is a third-year student pursuing a degree in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. After finishing his first co-op at Bain and Company as a Business Analyst on the Collaboration Technologies team he now works at La Hoja Capital Management as a Fund Fellow. He hopes to put forward his experiences working in the realms of tech, finance, and marketing to address the needs of non-profits and make positive contributions within local communities. On-campus, he’s involved in organizations such as IDEA, NUImpact, and Alpha Kappa Psi. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he enjoys working on old cars, DJ’ing, and exploring the outdoors.

Luke Zaller | Director

Luke is a third-year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in International Business with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and a minor in Mandarin. His first co-op was working at BCG on the Expert Consulting Track. This is Luke’s fourth semester with Chi Sigma Consulting but his first serving as director of the organization; a new challenge he looks forward to taking on. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Luke hopes to bring to our clients his expertise in management consulting, finance and strategy. Outside of academics and work, Luke has a high affinity for all things outdoors; enjoys skiing, soccer and wants to continue to explore this amazing world.

Suraj Chablani

Advisor

Suraj is a fourth-year at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, pursuing a combined degree in Business and Economics in his fifth semester in Chi Sigma Consulting. With a keen interest in Business planning, development, strategy, and using data to drive decision-making, he looks forward to bringing the skills and lessons learned from his work with international and local Non-Profits and his experiences from Northeastern Consulting Group, Bain and Co, and his current role of Strategy at the Cengage Group to help the client of Chi Sigma Consulting succeed. Originally hailing from the U.K and Singapore, while having grown up in Dubai, he has a unique global outlook and drive and thoroughly enjoys traveling, photography, or watching Soccer and Formula 1.

Helene Barbier

Senior Associate Consultant

Helene is a 5th year pursuing a combined concentration in Marketing Analytics & New Venture Management with a minor in Data Science. Helene just finished a semester at Northeastern’s San Francisco campus, working at a very small seed round startup that focuses on open-source data synchronization. This is Helene’s fourth semester with Chi Sigma Consulting and it will be her last semester on campus after having completed 3 co-ops : Qlik Technologies, ServiceNow, and VMware. 

Growing up in both France and the Silicon Valley, and picking up Spanish as a third language while studying abroad, Helene hopes to continue traveling to bridge cultural gaps and build new perspectives.

Annika Pederson

Engagement Manager

Annika is a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Communication Studies with a concentration in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship and a minor in Global Fashion Studies. She is passionate about non-profit organizations and social enterprises and encouraging sustainable and ethical standards in the fashion industry. Her recent professional experiences include a co-op as a Case Team Assistant at L.E.K. Consulting and an internship at Ashoka working on an Ethical Consumption Initiative. She is currently developing a podcast that aims to spread awareness about the fast fashion industry. Annika was born and raised in Washington, DC and enjoys reading, listening to music, and running.

Raj Paghdal
Engagement Manager

Raj is a third-year at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Law and Public Policy. His first co-op was at Goldman Sachs where he sat on the global management team in the Private Wealth Management division. On campus, Raj has worked for the Disability Resource Center, been a Resident Assistant, serves as a global co-op ambassador for New York City, and volunteers to teach local high school students the importance of budgeting and financial planning. He hopes to bring his experience in management consulting, strategic planning, and financial analysis to CSC’s clients. Originally from New Jersey, Raj takes pleasure in cooking, traveling, outdoor activities, and sports. Most of all, he is a proud Yankees fan.

Matthew Huo
Engagement Manager

Matthew is a third-year pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and minors in Strategy and Consulting. After taking a gap year to develop his own entrepreneurial ventures, Matthew returns to Chi Sigma Consulting with a wealth of experience and an appetite to keep learning. He built a finance-based YouTube channel with 100,000 subscribers, launched a startup that leveraged his YouTube audience to reach multiple six-figures in revenue, and recently started consulting part-time at Sequoi-backed fintech company, Kalshi. He is also the co-founder of a new finance startup that is trying to bring hedge fund-level trading algorithms directly to the everyday trader. Although he loves his work, outside of the office Matthew enjoys nature photography, hitting the gym, and eating great food.

Evelyn Wong
Engagement Manager

Evelyn is a fourth-year pursuing a combined degree in Business Administration and Communication with a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Interaction Design. She hopes to delve into product design and product management in the future, striving to deliver digital solutions to improve users’ experiences and reach their needs. Evelyn is currently a Digital Adoption Intern at Bain and Company, and was previously Informatics Projects and Communications Coordinator at Genentech. She also serves several Northeastern organizations including Design Lead at Generate Product Development Studio and UI/UX Designer at Sandbox- Northeastern’s student-led software consultancy. During her free time, you can find Evelyn either at a coffee shop or gallery-hopping.

Tanya Verma
Associate Consultant

Tanya is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management. With a professional background in marketing and consulting, Tanya is passionate about employing her skills to beneficially impact businesses and organizations. On campus, she is involved in pro-bono research and consulting through the Global Research Consulting group. Additionally, she is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and is serving as a researcher, exploring the relationships between eco-literacy and sustainable business practices, under Northeastern University's Marketing Department. Originally from Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, Tanya has grown up with a love for dance, acting, and writing.

Megha Prasad
Associate Consultant

Megha is a fourth-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Political Science & Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Her interests lie in the intersection of local politics and financial management as well as non-profit management. Her recent professional experience includes working at Goldman Sachs in their Public Sector & Infrastructure division and at McKinsey & Company in their Public & Social Sector Research team. On campus Megha is heavily involved with the Asian American community, currently serving in her second term as Co-Chair of the Northeastern University Growth and Opportunities for Asian Leaders program. Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, in her free time she enjoys spending time at Walden Pond, exploring new restaurants, and developing her amigurumi crochet skills.

Lisa Neureiter
Associate Consultant

Lisa is a third-year at Northeastern University pursuing a combined major of Business Administration and Communication Studies with a concentration in Brand Management. She has developed an interest in product development/project management through her current co-op at ASICS Digital working on their Consumer Insights Team. On campus, she is on eboard as the VP of Professionalism for the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and she is involved with IDEA as an Event Planning Associate. In her free time, Lisa enjoys being outside (hiking, running, tennis), finding new restaurants in Boston, and photography.

 

Ethan Truong

Associate Consultant

Ethan is a second-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a double minor in Data Science and Sustainable Business Practices. He is motivated to learn more about financial institutions and the ways that they can be used to further social and environmental progress. On-campus, he is involved in NU Impact - Northeastern University’s Impact Investing Fund which focuses on deploying responsible capital. He also serves as the Co-Vice President of Service at Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity to create meaningful and impactful community service opportunities for their members. Originally from Arcadia, California, Ethan has grown a fond appreciation for Los Angeles food and is on the never-ending search for good eats.

Khushboo Shah

Associate Consultant

Khushboo is a second-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Mathematics. She is interested in learning about different areas within finance, namely wealth management and equity research. She hopes to use the skills she learns from the finance industry to eventually manage the finances of nonprofit education-oriented organizations. On campus, Khushboo maintains a balance of social and professional organizations, serving as the Director of Recruitment for Code4Community, Treasurer for NU UTSAV (Northeastern University’s Undergraduate South Asian Organization), and member of Women in Finance. Born and brought up in Queens, NY, Khushboo enjoys tutoring, listening to Spanish Pop music, and embroidering.

Jacob Frisch

Associate Consultant

Jacob is a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration (concentration in Finance) as well as a PlusOne Environmental Science and Policy Master’s degree. He is interested in tying together the areas of science and business to actively work towards a greener, more sustainable future. He recently completed his first co-op at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals on the General Ledger Accounting team. On campus, Jacob is involved in NUImpact, Northeastern University’s Impact Investing Fund, as an analyst who seeks to deploy purposeful capital within the local Boston area. Additionally, he is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and Net Impact. Jacob was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and enjoys hiking, exploring new cities, trying new foods, and reading.

Kellie Woo

Associate Consultant

Kellie is a third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in International Affairs. New to the finance world, she is interested in combining her passion for real estate with finance. On campus, Kellie is in the Honors Program involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Northeastern Real Estate, Women in Finance, and is currently studying for her Real Estate License. Born and raised in New Jersey, Kellie enjoys driving, listening to true crime podcasts, and utilizing her interior design skills any chance she gets.

 

Quill Alewine

Associate Consultant

Quill is a second-year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Data Science. Quill is passionate about improving her professional skill set and expanding her knowledge upon business concepts so that she may produce meaningful and quality work. On campus, Quill is primarily involved in CASE at Northeastern as the Education Associate, however, she enjoys attending programming events for Women in Finance and Women in Business. Outside of the academic environment, Quill loves hiking, singing, studio art, and nail art.

Jizelle Dorego

Associate Consultant

Jizelle is a second-year Honors student at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing Analytics. Moreover, Jizelle is passionate about giving back to others and helping those in need, which is why she wants to bridge Finance and struggling communities together; she hopes to help underrepresented small businesses manage their finances. On campus, Jizelle is involved with clubs and organizations such as Women in Finance, Women’s Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship (WISE), and Circle K International (a volunteering-based club). During the time Jizelle is not in clubs, classes, or other miscellaneous meetings, she enjoys baking, hiking, and doing anything spontaneous.

Darren Tswei

Associate Consultant

Darren is a second-year student at Northeastern University. He is currently undeclared but is planning on pursuing a degree in mathematics and a minor in biology. Darren is interested in entering financial field and is passionate about creating and taking opportunities to learn accounting and financial decision-making skills. On campus, he is involved in the Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity and the school’s Asian Student Union. Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, Darren enjoys exploring his local city while looking for new restaurants and playing Pokémon GO on his phone.

Autumn Fung

Associate Consultant

Autumn is a second-year at Northeastern University pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Design with a concentration in Marketing and Interaction Design. On campus, she is involved in Sandbox - Northeastern’s student-led software consultancy - as the Marketing and Events Director, works as a studio UX designer in Scout, and serves as two chair positions (Admin and PR) within the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity. Through exploring the cross-disciplinary interactions between technology, business, and design, she feels passionate about using her creativity as a catalyst for connection and human-centered innovation. Originally born in Hunan, China but raised in the Bay Area, Autumn is a huge fan of sunset drives, aesthetic cafes, and media arts.
